As a professional speaker, trainer and writer, she has presented talks and seminars in South Africa, Bali, Singapore, Vancouver, Hong Kong, as well as, at home in the US. Through her workshops and personalized coaching, she has helped hundreds of high-level executives and speakers to break through communication barriers to achieve confidence and excellence while presenting to audiences.
Her international consulting expertise focuses on regions in East and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, as well as, Western Europe. For one California-based Healthcare company, her successful cross-cultural coaching program garnered a $60 million contract with a Chinese company.
Her distinctive background as a respected sales and marketing executive in the European and Pacific Rim tourism industry, provided a unique foundation to develop specialized knowledge in cross-cultural communication and international business practices.
As an adjunct to her career, she has published articles in international business journals and national magazines. She has also penned articles for the corporate and tourism markets and has granted media interviews in the U.S. and overseas.
Throughout her notable career, she has contributed to the communities where she has resided. Catherine served on the Board of Directors for the Mayor of Reno’s Council of International Business and was the first woman executive to serve on the State of Nevada International Business Committee. She was honored by Esquire magazine as one of the “100 Women We Love in Communication” in the U.S. and Canada. She continues to reach out to service organizations in her community by contributing valuable time and expertise.
Catherine has visited 65 countries for business or leisure and enjoys learning about the great world family. She is conversant in French and muddles through intermediate German with her German-born chef-husband. She lives in North San Diego, with her family. She benefits by staying fit to work off her husband’s cooking, and can often be found with her nose in a book, at the computer working on her next program, or researching the writing of her book.
